Dow’s breakout rap in “The Wedding Singer” led to memorable and often foul-mouthed character roles in films like “Road Trip” and “Wedding Crashers”.
Mrs. Dow’s numerous television credits include “Seinfeld”, “Golden Girls” and “New Girl.”
Ellen Rose Albertini was born on Nov. 16, 1913, in Mount Carmel, Pa. Seeing a stage performance by Ray Bolger in Philadelphia in the late 1920s led to her lifetime interest in theater.
