The Olympic flame got a royal reception on Thursday as it makes its way through London ahead of the start of the Summer Games.
Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, greeted the torch at Buckingham Palace on the second-to-last day of its journey around the United Kingdom. (See another photo below.)
The young royals were on hand as the flame was passed from one torch bearer to another during a visit to the palace.
The torch was carried past a number of famous London landmarks on Thursday, including the Houses of Parliament, Hyde Park and 10 Downing Street. It will end its 70-day trek on Friday, lighting the cauldron at the Olympic Stadium to mark the start of the London Games.
