The show is generally shrouded in secrecy, so no further details were shared. The promo Gaga posted was fittingly creepy. And she bared her claws.
But executive producer Ryan Murphy confirmed Gaga's news, also on Twitter.
The FX series marks Gaga's major acting debut. And it follows on the heels of her mega-watt Oscars performance of the Sound of Music medley, and the announcement that she's engaged to actor Taylor Kinney.
