Joan Collins Joins 'American Horror Story' Season 8!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Murphy has recruited legendary actress Joan Collins to join the anthology series for the next installment. Collins is best known for playing the iconic socialite Alexis Carrington on the famed soap opera, Dynasty. She currently stars as the Grand Duchess on E!'s scripted series, The Royals.
Though it's unclear what story Murphy will tackle for Collins' season, which will take place in the near future, the trade revealed that he is interested in also bringing Anjelica Huston on board. Can you say dream team?
American Horror Story's eighth season will also feature AHS vets Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Kathy Bates in starring roles.

'American Crime Story: Katrina' Will Be Based On the Book ‘Five Days at Memorial’ - Sarah Paulson To Star
FX’s limited series Katrina: American Crime Story is moving full steam ahead, acquiring the book Five Days At Memorial by Pulitzer Prize winner Sheri Fink as source material. The project, which details the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina at Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans, and the decision by medical staff, led by Dr. Anna Pou (Sarah Paulson) to euthanize critically ill patients after being trapped in the hospital for days without power.

Darren Criss to Play Andrew Cunnan in ‘Versace: American Crime Story’
Even though you are not going to be seeing “Versace: American Crime Story” on the air until 2018, executive producer Ryan Murphy and FX are already getting some of the cast together for what could be an impact installment.
Specifically, Murphy is bringing back someone in Darren Criss who he is certainly familiar with working with already. Sources confirm that the former “Glee” star, who has also appeared on “American Horror Story,” is going to star as Andrew Cunanan, the serial killer responsible for the murder of famed designer Gianni Versace.
This is easily one of the meatiest roles that we’ve seen for Criss over the course of his career, and he’s going to have some great company on the show as well as Edgar Ramirez is set to play Gianni on the show. There is no word as of yet on who is playing Donatella Versace, but the one thing that we do know is that this person is not going to be Lady Gaga. That is a rumor that has already been denied, but we understand somewhat where it came from given the singer’s physical similarity to the designer and her affinity for all things fashion.

Lady Gaga, John Travolta and Ryan Murphy Spend Saturday Night at Barbra Streisand's House
Barbra Streisand and husband James Brolin's Saturday night at home was more star-studded than a red carpet.
The singer, 73, and Brolin, 75, spent the evening with Lady Gaga and her American Horror Story: Hotel producer Ryan Murphy, as well as John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston.
"A wonderful evening at home," Streisand wrote of the group and shared a photo to Twitter. The famous friends are seen standing in a dimly lit room and in front of a bookshelf. A tiny, furry dog looks left out in the background.
Gaga, 29, also shared a photo with the iconic actress from the special night. In the image, the "Bad Romance" singer is seen standing behind Streisand and wraps her arms around her shoulders. Both women looked up toward the sky.
"Barbra and me," Gaga wrote. "What a completely amazing woman. #Funnygirls."
