Angela Hill to Retire From WWL-TV in April


Angela Hill will retire from anchoring newscasts at WWL-TV on April 4, the station announced Wednesday (March 27).

According to WWLTV.com, Hill made the announcement at a staff meeting Wednesday afternoon. She will celebrate her 38th anniversary at the station next week and anchor her last newscast April 4.

She will continue to make documentaries and work on other special projects for the station, working with Dominic Massa, the station's executive producer for special projects.

“This city has always been full of fascinating, creative, energetic and genuine people and this gives me the chance to take the time to share their stories in a very fulfilling way,” Hill says in WWL's post. “I am thrilled at the possibilities.”
