Channing Tatum In New Orleans !!

The worst-kept secret in New Orleans' film industry is now official: Paramount Pictures will bring its big-budget, high-octane sequel "G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes" to New Orleans this summer.
The production -- which showed up today (July 15) on the latest state-issued list of productions shooting or preparing to shoot in Louisiana -- will crank up in late August.

Channing Tatum will star in the film, reprising his role from 2009's original, "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra." He'll be joined by a mostly new cast that so far includes Dwayne Johnson as the character Roadblock, Ray Stevenson as Firefly and Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye.
