Ryan Murphy proudly Tweeted a photo of the newest member of the “Glee” family — Patty Duke.
The “Glee” showrunner Tweeted the pic of Patty with Darren Criss (who plays Blaine) on Thursday morning, alongside the caption, “I need to put a ring on it! Got any good ones?”
Patty, whose most memorable roles include playing Cathy Lane on “The Patty Duke Show,” in the 1960s, and playing Helen Keller, opposite Anne Bancroft’s Annie Sullivan in “The Miracle Worker,” is set to appear on the show’s season finale, according to reports.
Patty is playing one half of a lesbian couple with Meredith Baxter (formerly of “Family Ties”), according to E! News.
Patty and Meredith’s characters will reportedly cross paths with Kurt and Blaine.
