Gabourey Sidibe To Appear On New Orleans Based 'American Horror Story: Coven'

Gabourey Sidibe is adding yet another cable series to her eclectic resume. Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter on Monday that the 29-year-old star has been cast in his FX series American Horror Story. 

"Thrilled to announce Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe is joining the cast of 'American Horror Story: Coven,'" Murphy, the showrunner for the dramatic series, tweeted.

Sidibe will be joining Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, and Lily Rabe for the guest star jam-packed New Orleans based Season 3 of  of the creepy cult favorite.
