Sean Payton Played Bongos For Jimmy Buffett

Sean Payton began serving his NFL suspension wasted away again in Magaritaville.

The New Orleans Saints coach was a surprise guest at Jimmy Buffett's free concert on New Orleans on Sunday night, playing bongos on the song, "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes."

Buffett opened the Final Four concert by coming out in a shirt that said "FREE SEAN PAYTON." The mellow singer-songwriter grew up in the Gulf area and became a Saints fan when the team began play in 1967. He attended the franchise's inaugural game at Tulane Stadium and celebrated in the locker room 43 years later when the team won the 2010 NFC championship.

Earlier on Sunday, a popular Buffett website announced that Payton would join the Coral Reefer Band while serving his NFL suspension for his role in his team's bounty program. That April Fool's ruse came true, at least for one night.
