'South Park' is sticking around for at least three more seasons. Comedy Central has renewed the long-running series, keeping it on the air until at least 2016.
"The collective genius of Matt and Trey knows no bounds," Michele Ganeless, president of Comedy Central, said in a statement. "Week after week and season after season they continue to surprise and delight 'South Park' fans, and that includes all of us here at Comedy Central. We're thrilled that the adventures of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman will continue through 2016."
The renewal will bring 'South Park' to a landmark 20th season. Created by Matt Parker and Trey Stone, the animated series has been a mainstay on Comedy Central since 1997. It's inspired a full-length motion picture, countless merchandise and become the satirical voice of a generation.
