Mariah Carey, Kendrick Lamar and Maxwell are among some of the big names set to perform at the 2016 Essence Festival this summer in New Orleans.
Festival organizers announced the first-round of the performance lineup Tuesday morning. Essence Festival will take place over four nights from June 30 to July 3.
Here's a look at the other artists set to perform: Ciara, New Edition, Babyface, Charlie Wilson, Tyrese and Faith Evans. There will also be first-time performances from Jeremih, Leon Bridges and Lion Babe.
