Pat Harrington Jr died at the age of 86 on Wednesday.
The character actor was best known for playing superintendent Schneider on the hit 1970s series 'One Day At A Time', which also starred Valerie Bertinelli, Bonnie Franklin and Mackenzie Phillips.
No cause of death was disclosed, according to TMZ.
