New Orleans 'Country Club' Ends Clothing Optional Policy

Starting Oct. 21 swimsuits will be required at Bywater’s The Country Club, according to announcement on the club’s Facebook page.
The bar and club has famously featured a pool that allowed nude swimming. In order to maintain its liquor license, The Country Club agreed to end its clothing optional policy. The news was posted on club's Facebook page.

“Today, the Country Club settled the pending action with the ABO, the City of New Orleans liquor licensing agency,” said the Facebook post. “We will post more details about the policy changes, but at this point we want to inform our guests as soon as possible that, effective immediately, the Club has discontinued its clothing optional policy.”
According to a Aug. 22 story by WWL, the city accused The Country Club of allowing “obscene, lewd, sexually indecent, immoral or improper conduct.”

They have a pool, a hot tub and karaoke every weekend... I live in New Orleans but absolutely love it there and think its worth the drive. Check it out! :)
