Mr. Grinch Arrested in Montgomery County

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) - A familiar face was arrested in Montgomery County on Sunday.
Mr. Grinch of Mount Crumpit near Whoville is behind bars facing a theft charge.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says the 56-year-old had been hiding out in the area and was looking for a way to steal Christmas trees, ornaments, decorations and presents from local homes.
Police say they received a tip from Cindy Lou, one of the first victims of the Grinch, that he was headed to Montgomery County.
"Our investigators spotted his dog, Max, at the Dog Park, and we managed to outfit him with an undetectable tracking device and audio receiver," said Sheriff John Fuson. "Thankfully, for our investigation, Grinch tells his dog everything."
The bond for Grinch was set at $1 million. He was taken into custody without incident.
"My hopes are that the citizens of our county can now have a very Merry Christmas, and enjoy their families and feasts without the fear of this anti-holiday beast," Fuson said.
