Elton John is Playing The New Orleans Arena on March 21, 2014
Elton John is scheduled to perform at the New Orleans Arena on March 21, 2014. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Jan. 10 at 10 a.m.
On the upcoming tour, John and his band -- guitarist Davey Johnstone, bassist Matt Bissonette, percussionist John Mahon, drummer Nigel Olsson and keyboardist Kim Bullard -- plan to mix a generous sampling of hits with new material from John’s recent album, “The Diving Board.”
John was last scheduled to perform in New Orleans in the fall of 2005. That concert was canceled in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
