New Orleans Saints All-Pro quarterback Drew Brees was named the NFC offensive player of the week today.
How good was Brees in Week 4? In case you missed Monday night’s win over the Miami Dolphins, Brees finished with a 144.5 quarterback rating, throwing for 413 yards, 4 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the 38-17 victory.
Since 2006, Brees’ first year in New Orleans, he has received NFC offensive player of the week honors 15 times, most in the NFC during that time span.
