Joseph Gordon-Levitt Shuts Down Gay Rumors
Leave it to Howard Stern to get to the bottom of a gay rumor. For months — and possibly years — Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been rumored to be gay. The Don Jon actor, who is extremely private, hasn’t addressed them. In fact, he told Out magazine, “That would be really tacky — they would win if I had to clarify.”
But, when you go on Howard’s radio show — nothing is off limits. Somehow Howard found out that 32-year-old has a girlfriend.
Joseph says he met her through “mutual friends.” Of course, Howard pressed further and Joseph would only say, “I have a girlfriend but I tend not to really like to talk about it in public. She is not in show business.”
He added, “The girl I’m with, she really doesn’t want to be part of it. You can imagine not wanting to have that kind of scrutiny.” Joseph says he wants to stay out of tabloids. “I get up in movies and I play other people, so when the audience is watching me in movies, I don’t want them thinking about me and who I’m dating,” he said. “I want them to see the character, the story that I’m telling.”
He seems to be a nice guy and a competent actor. I don't think it matters one way or the other as I would watch his movies regardless.
