"Love Will Save The Day" Whitney Houston, White Party, 2001
This show, for White Party Weekend in Miami at the Seaquarium in 2001, was only a couple months after the 9/11 tragedies and honestly, no one really knew what the mood would be for the event. Mark Baker and Matthew Harvat chose this song as a message of hope to everyone to try and start healing. Matthew had also just lost my grandmother who was/is my life's inspiration 20 day before this night, so it was a big night for him emotionally. Between the New Century Dancers, the lights by Ross Berger and the vision from Mark Baker, this will always be one of Matthew's favorite moments on stage. The 4000+ people in attendance felt the love and gave it back in overwhelming amounts, hope you enjoy--especially, the amazing solo girls!
