A column by Mike Freeman of CBS Sports suggests that a gay player in the NFL may come out soon.
Freeman said that based on interviews over the past few weeks with current and former players, a current player is strongly considering coming out and trying to continue with his career.
The article says the player is more concerned about reaction from the fans than he is about the reaction from players in the locker room.
