Drew Brees to Co-Host 'The Talk' in New Orleans on Jan. 31

NEW ORLEANS - Though he'd much rather be unavailable for such duty, Saints quarterback Drew Brees will be a guest co-host of 'The Talk,' next Thursday, according to a lineup issued by CBS. 

'The Talk' will tape its shows Monday through Friday in Jackson Square as part of CBS' coverage of the Super Bowl.

The show's list of guests for the week include the national - Neil Patrick Harris, Vanessa Williams, and locals like Brees and Chef Emeril Lagasse.

“The Talk,” which stars Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler, airs locally at 1 p.m. on WWL-TV.

“The Talk” Super Bowl lineup, day-by-day:

Monday, Jan. 28 -- Sportscaster James Brown; Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Tuesday, Jan. 29 -- “Train” lead singer Pat Monahan guest co-hosts, CBS "Late, Late Show" host Craig Ferguson.

Wednesday, Jan. 30 -- Actor Neil Patrick Harris, entertainment reporter Kevin Frazier ("omg!Insider")

Thursday, Jan. 31 -- Drew Brees, actress Vanessa Williams, chef Jamie Deen. 

Friday, Feb. 1 -- Actor Daniel Dae Kim, chef Emeril Lagasse.

"The Talk" is one of close to two dozen CBS programs being broadcast from CBS Super Bowl Park at Jackson Square during Super Bowl week.
