'The Bodyguard' to Hit Big Screens Again in a Few Weeks
Whitney Houston films have been all over television in the weeks since her death. Now her best-known film, "The Bodyguard," will play on big screens as well, at 7:30 p.m. March 28.
The event aims to celebrate the movie's 20th anniversary and a new Blu-ray edition of the movie coming out March 27. The 20th anniversary Blu-ray has to have been in the works for some time. But you have to wonder if "The Bodyguard" would have been brought to the big screen again had Houston not died.

“I thank Rosie from the bottom of my heart for joining me on this journey,” said Oprah Winfrey in a statement. “As I have learned in the last 15 months, a new network launch is always a challenge and ratings grow over time as you continue to gather an audience. I’m grateful to Rosie and the dedicated Rosie Show team for giving it their all.”
The Rosie Show, which is taped in Oprah’s old Chicago studio, will tape its last installment March 20.

'Glee' Casts 'Melrose Place' Star Thomas Calabro as Puck's Father
TVLine Is Reporting that Thomas Calabro (of Melrose Place fame) has been cast to play Puck's (Mark Salling) father in episode 18, set to air later in the season. If I have my episode count math correct, episode 18 will air May 1. Before this, Blaine's brother, Cooper Anderson, played by Matt Bomer, will guest star on April 10.
Leading up to this official announcement, there have been rumors that this character would pop up onGlee sometime soon. SpoilerTV had this to tease about a new character: "A potentially recurring character will enter the show in [episode 18]. His name is James Elliot and he is a man who dropped out of high school, became a young dad and then left his wife and kid. He's also got a little bit of a sense of danger about him."
And earlier in the week, E! Online mentioned that "we'll meet a new character who might turn out to have an impact on someone ... we're just not sure who will be affected. This new character is in his 40's, and his life is in shambles. He dropped out of high school, left his wife and hasn't paid child support in a real long time. Word on the street is he might stick around on Glee."

New Orleans Police Department spokesman Gary Flot confirmed earlier Thursday that a warrant had been issued for Brand's arrest on a charge of simple damage to property in the amount of $700. The warrant stemmed from an incident Monday in which a photographer, identified by online sources as Timothy Jackson, said he was taking pictures of Brand in the 500 block of Julia Street Monday at about 7:10 p.m. when the actor wrestled the iPhone from his hand and threw it through the window of a Warehouse District law firm.
On Thursday afternoon, TMZ.com was reporting that a production assistant for the film Brand is here working on dropped by the law firm last night and plunked down $240 for the repairs. No word on the photographer's cellphone.
Brand, 36, is in New Orleans shooting Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody's untitled film, which also stars Octavia Spencer, also an Oscar-winner, for "The Help."

'Whitney' Character Neal Realizes He's Gay And Comes Out!!
It's been a whirlwind ride for Neal and Lily in the past several episodes on "Whitney" (Wed., 8 p.m. ET on NBC). The couple went from engaged to suddenly broken up, and this week were in an awkward situation where they weren't sure if they should move on and start dating or not. Actually, this was Lily's dilemma, as Neal had kind of dropped off the radar completely.
So when Whitney decided that she and Alex should drop in on him to see if he was dating -- which would give Lily the greenlight to date as well -- they stumbled in on what looked like a date. Only Neal said it was a work thing and then a man came out of the bathroom. A man who was cooking dinner for the two of them.
Later, Neal stopped by to talk to a very uncomfortable Whitney, where he kind of came out to her and himself at the same time. He was certainly more confused about his own feelings than having any sense of certainty about his sexuality or what he wants. More specifically, it may well be that he was discovering that he's bisexual. He didn't deny that Lily is beautiful and that he loves her, but he felt something for the guy who cooked him dinner as well.
Finally, Neal came out to everyone and found a quick acceptance from them all, including Lily. With that secret weight off of his chest, Neal was suddenly willing and able to be a part of their lives again.
"Whitney" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Seann William Scott Is Getting Married
A source close to the star told Life and Style magazine the actor proposed to the Victoria’s Secret beauty on Valentine’s Day, this February: “Seann asked her to marry him on Valentine’s Day and she said yes.”
William Scott may be reprising his role as womanising, sex-obsessed Steve Stifler for ‘American Reunion’ – the fourth film in the ‘American Pie’ series – but has distanced himself from the hard partying character in real life.
He recently said: “I have a girl in my life. I was never really able to take advantage of being an actor, because I was always too shy to talk to girls.”
William Scott also admitted many fans of his iconic alter ego are upset when they realise he is nothing like him.
He explained: “I walk down the street and someone’s like, ‘Hey we’ll buy you a shot’. And I’m like, ‘No, I’m OK.’ They’re so crushed, like ‘What? But you were in ‘American Pie” I say, ‘It’s a movie.’”
William Scott voluntarily admitted himself to rehab last year for “health and personal issues.”
A source said at the time: “He completed the 30 days successfully – he’s doing great. Seann dealt with an issue and hopefully he can do ‘American Reunion’ and re-energise his career.”
