Tom Cruise May Join Beyonce In Clint Eastwood Remake of 'A Star Is Born'
First "Rock of Ages," now this? According to Variety, Tom Cruise is being courted by Warner Bros. to star opposite Beyonce in Clint Eastwood's remake of "A Star Is Born."
The film was originally set to begin production last month, however, plans were put on hold due to the pop singer's pregnancy.
Tom isn't the first leading man to be considered for "Star." Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Leonardo DiCaprio -- who worked with Eastwood on "J. Edgar" -- have all declined the lead role.
"A Star Is Born" has hit the big screen three times previously: In 1937 starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, the 1954 version with Judy Garland and James Mason, and -- perhaps most famously -- in 1976 with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

Shia LaBeouf’s Scruffy New Look

This is a picture of A-list actor Shia LaBeouf. The 'Transformers' star was photographed on Friday sporting a scruffy anti-establishment look.
The 'Company You Keep' actor was grabbing a cup of java in Studio City, California when paparazzi caught up with him. No word on if Shia’s long hair and bushy beard are for a new film or just because.
Jessica Biel Showing Off Engagement Ring From Justin Timberlake?

There pictures certainly aren’t going to silence the engagement rumors. On Thursday, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were spotted leaving a Brentwood, California restaurant when photographers noticed something shiny on Jessica’s engagement ring finger.
As Biel and Timberlake parted way after leaving the trendy Tavern diner, Jessica gave onlookers a glimpse of a huge diamond ring on her left hand. Wearing a long turquoise summer dress and a white blazer, Biel remained mum on the rumors, but the ring speaks for itself.
Timberlake is rumored to have proposed to Biel in Jackson, Wyoming in late December. RumorFix has reached out to both Biel and Timberlake’s reps for comment on the pictures.
Kelly Clarkson: I Never Endorsed Ron Paul!
Kelly Clarkson is backpedaling on tweets perceived to be an endorsement of Ron Paul, saying she never threw her support behind the candidate, despite writing “I love Ron Paul.”
“I liked him a lot during the last Republican nomination and no one gave him a chance," she Tweeted late last year. "If he wins the nomination for the Republican Party in 2012 he's got my vote. Too bad he probably won't."
Her tweets ignited a firestorm from critics who cited his newsletter controversy, wherein materials circulated by Paul in the 1980s and 90s included racist and homophobic remarks. The content of the newsletters was revealed during the 2008 election, but did not get as much attention until 2012, when he became a more formidable candidate.
But Clarkson tells Rolling Stone she was surprised at the reaction.
“I was hanging out with my brother and my little niece, playing Barbies, and Ron Paul comes on TV,” she said. “He doesn’t BS around anything. I was like, ‘This dude is refreshing.’ All I did was tweet what I thought, and people went crazy!”
“All of a sudden people were like, ‘You hate gay people’ – what? I didn’t even endorse him!” she added. “All I said was that I liked him.”
In December, following the firestorm of criticism, Clarkson apologized to her critics.
“I am really sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously that was not my intent. I do not support racism. I support gay rights, straight rights, women's rights, men's rights, white/black/purple/orange rights,” she tweeted after being lambasted online.
“I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country. That is all. Out of all of the Republican nominees, he's my favorite."
Clarkson also tweeted that she had, “never heard that Ron Paul is a racist or a homophobe."
But many of Clarkson’s fans stuck by the singer and she even gained some new ones in the process. Her record sales were even boosted on Amazon.com, according to Gossipcop.com.
Still, the singer said she is “not even hardcore Republican,” having voted for Barack Obama in 2008.

New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees Posts Letter to Fans
A LETTER TO THE FANSMarch 09, 2012
This has been an eventful offseason for me and my family. Brittany and I would like to thank all of you for the thoughtful words and well wishes since we announced that baby boy #3 is on the way. While we were all disappointed with the way the season ended, the offseason has given us the opportunity to reflect back on what was a truly memorable year. It has also given me the opportunity to enjoy some much needed quality time with my family.
I do feel a responsibility to my teammates, the Saints organization and to the fans, to address the "Bounty" allegations.
There is no place in the National Football League, or any sport played at any level, for players to conspire, to be coerced, or to be incentivized to intentionally injure another player. I did not participate in any Bounty program, nor did I have any knowledge relating to its real existence. I have spent the last several years as an Executive Committee Member of the NFLPA making health and safety a priority and I am proud of the advancements we've made and will continue to make.
As a leader of our football team, I feel comfortable in stating that I know well the integrity of our organization from the ownership level, to management, our head coach, and the players on our team. We, as Saints players, pride ourselves on playing this game with honor and hold ourselves to a very high standard. We also share a great sense of responsibility to our community and to each other, a strong belief in our purpose, a resiliency to overcome adversity and a work ethic and commitment to leave things better than we found them.
The accusations and perceptions alone created by this issue make us feel like we should all apologize to the young people that love our game and aspire to be in our shoes. Regardless of the outcome of the "bounty" issue, we owe it to them to provide the best example of how to behave as professionals and more importantly, as people of integrity.
To our fans, please reserve judgment until the investigation is complete and the facts in their entirety are known. We are all working diligently to find the truth in this matter and if the facts prove there was improper behavior, we will hold ourselves accountable. Until that time, we will stand together and remain united as an organization.
Thank you for your support.
Drew

'Glee' Sets Eight-Song Whitney Houston Tribute Episode
Glee is currently shooting a tribute episode to Whitney Houston that will include eight songs from the late great musical icon, sources confirm to us exclusively.
Unlike the previous tribute last month (Amber Riley performed "I Will Always Love You" and producers added in a dedication card), this Whitney episode was planned after Houston's death, and according to a reliable show source, will "not be a typical tribute"...

"It's using Whitney's music as a way to say goodbye," the source reveals. "A way to respectfully say thank you for her music."
I'm told that unlike the show's Madonna and Michael Jackson episodes, the Whitney tribute is more of a "character piece" that focuses on Glee's graduating seniors having a real hard time letting go.
Earlier today, Lea Michele herself tweeted: "Starting a new episode today. A very special tribute to one of the worlds most amazing singers. Very excited about this one."
As are we! In fact, this Whitney episode has all the makings of one of the series' most emotionally gripping to date. So count us in. (With a Huge crate of Kleenex on stand by, just in case!)

Cosmo centrefold: Trevor Donovan
Trevor: Look at my picture in Cosmo... my answer is no.
Cosmo: What's your favourite part of your body?
Trevor: My hands. Hands down! Because they play guitar for me.
Cosmo: And the rest! What's your least favourite part of your body?
Trevor: My mouth. Because it's always getting me in trouble.
Cosmo: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Trevor: Yes. I've been blind in that area so far. But I'm still looking.
Cosmo: Does being in a show of beautiful people like 90210 put pressure on you to work out?
Trevor: On the show or not I would of done it anyway. I actually enjoy exercising.
Cosmo: Do you like a girl to stay in shape too?
Trevor: Yes, but equally as sexy to a fit body is a sharp intellect… someone who can carry on conversations. Girls with sharp elbows and dull intellect need not apply.
