Kelly Clarkson made it official: Her life would indeed suck without boyfriend Brandon Blackstock. So the pair of one year got engaged last Friday night.
"I'M ENGAGED!!!!!" Clarkson, 30, tweeted today. "I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever :)"
Blackstock, who manages Blake Shelton, is also the son of Clarkson's manager, Narvel Blackstock, and Reba McEntire's stepson. "It's getting very Arkansas up in here," Clarkson quipped to USA TODAY's Brian Mansfield last month. The country-royalty couple recently bought a house in Nashville.
But as for any grand ole shindig of a wedding, don't hold your breath. "We will totally, probably elope," the pop star told Ellen DeGeneres earlier.
