Stevie Nicks on 'Idol': "If I was Mariah I would have strangled Nicki"

According to The Daily, the Fleetwood Mac singer claimed that if she had been there she wouldn't have stood for the rapper's behavior, saying: "How dare this little girl!… If I had been Mariah I would have walked over to Nicki and strangled her to death right there."

She added: "I would have killed her in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it."

Nicks said that had reality shows such as American Idol and The X Factor been around when Fleetwood Mac were forming, they would likely have entered as contestants as "that's how you get seen these days".

However, she said that she would have had to drag bandmate Lindsay Buckingham "kicking and screaming" to the audition, and that he "probably would have given them the finger".

Nicks confirmed earlier this year that Fleetwood Mac will reunite in 2013 for a world tour.
