Ron Howard has taken to Twitter to express his condolences over the passing of legendary TV actor Andy Griffith. Howard got his break in show business starring in the hit TV series, The Andy Griffith show. Howard played Griffith’s son on the program, Opie.
“Andy Griffith, his pursuit of excellence and the joy he took in creating served generations and shaped my life. I’m forever grateful. RIP, Andy,” Howard writes.Griffith was found dead inside of his North Carolina home on Tuesday morning.
