The Client List star, 62, is engaged to jeweler-turned-psychologist Andrei Nikolajevic, she tells New York's Daily News.
Until her recent engagement, Shepherd – who was formerly married to David Ford and Bruce Oppenheim – ruled out the possibility of finding a permanent life partner.
"I never thought I'd get married again," the former Moonlightingand Cybill star tells the paper, adding that Nicolajevic's proposal was, "Very romantic and on one knee."
Shepherd three grown children from her previous marriages.
