Angelina Jolie is so furious with Brad Pitt‘s mother Jane Pitt over an anti-gay letter she sent to a local newspaper, that she’s threatening to call off her wedding to the actor.
Jane recently expressed her support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney by writing that “any Christian should spend much time in prayer” before refusing to vote for Romney because he is a Mormon. She praised him for his “high morals,” business experience, anti-abortion stance and the “Christian conviction concerning homosexuality.”
And Jolie isn’t pleased, according to American tabloid the National Enquirer.
“Angie is freaking out that Brad’s own mom has such views,” said a source close to the 37-year-old actress.
“She is absolutely mortified. She was almost tearing her hair out she was so incensed by Jane’s words. She thought they were hateful.
“Angie told Brad that he better talk to his mom immediately and straighten her out…or else the wedding is off!”
Meanwhile, it’s been claimed that Jolie was left furious when her eldest child — Pax, 8 — started spouting the expletive-laden lyrics of a Rihanna song about impromptu sex.
So she’s decided to ban the Umbrella hitmaker from their stereos.
“Pax was singing the lyrics to ‘Birthday Cake’ and laughing hysterically at the curse words,” a source said.
“Angelina wants to keep her kids innocent, so she put parental blocks on the music ASAP.
“She keeps an eye on the sites they browse and their Spotify playlists.
“Angie grew up pretty fast, and she wants her kids to avoid that same mistake.”
