Prince Harry Returning to the U.S.

Get ready, royal fans. Prince Harry is coming back to America.

Harry, 27, who did Apache helicopter training in California and Arizona last year and wowed the Caribbean and Brazil on his first solo overseas tour last month, will be in Washington, D.C, on May 7 to accept the Atlantic Council's 2012 Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership.

The honor recognizes the prince's charitable work, particularly on behalf of military veterans and servicemen and women and their families.

In a statement, Harry office stressed that he is accepting the award on behalf of "his brother the Duke of Cambridge, and their joint work through the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry."

Harry has worked with charities such as Walking with the Wounded and Help for Heroes. During their visit to Los Angeles last July, William and his wife Kate attended an event put on by ServiceNation, a group dedicated to inspiring voluntary citizen service in America.
