Actor Zachary Quinto will produce a film with his production company Before the Door Pictures, which deals with Hurricane Katrina.
The film, titled Imperial Palace, is a love story which deals with the aftermath of the 2005 hurricane which destroyed New Orleans.
In the film, a man from Biloxi, MS finds the casino he owns taken over by FEMA to use as their base in their relief efforts.
The film will be directed by Victor Quinaz ad will start shooting next spring. There is no word on if Quinto will appear in the film.
He previously produced Margin Call, which is now in theaters, and stars Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons and Demi Moore. Both films were co-produced by Killer Films.
Quinto is known for playing Spock in Star Trek(2009) an is expected to reprise the role in an upcoming sequel. He also recently announced that he’s gay.
