When it comes to casting on "Community," you do have to love the fact that everyone involved loves to dream big -- even when their dreams are so far out of the realm of possibility that they will never feasibly happen.
According to E! News, Joel McHale has been "dying" to try and get Barbra Streisand to come on the show to play his mom -- but the problem is just that he's not making any actual headway on the subject. As many longtime fans know, this is certainly not the first time that McHale has put a dream casting out into the universe -- he also recently expressed his hope to someday see Bill Murray come on board the show to play the character of his father. (Murray is notorious for being difficult to cast in just anything.)
While these two may not be involved at the moment, we will see more of another star moving forward in John Goodman -- we'll just have to stay tuned.
