Scotty McCreery’s debut album, Clear as Day, will debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with estimated sales between 150-175k.
The only previous Idol winners who can make that claim are first and second-season champs Kelly Clarkson and Ruben Studdard, whose debut albums Thankful and Soulful went straight to #1 in 2003.
