Whitney Houston's 1992's hit, "The Bodyguard" fades out with one of the most memorable ballads in movies, "I Will Always Love You."
Though it's been a sort of roller coaster for the R&B icon, those who stayed true are in luck: Houston will be making a reentry into film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is now in negotiations to star alongside Jordin Sparks and Mike Epps in "Sparkle," the remake of the 70s music-themed drama.
Originally, "Sparkle" was based on the story of The Supremes, which narrates three sisters' rise to the top from their humble beginnings at a Harlem church choir.
