Prince Harry to Party in Las Vegas During U.S. Chopper Training?

Prince Harry does Sin City!

It won't be all work and no play when Prince William's little brother, 26, spends 12 weeks in the U.S. in an intense Apache helicopter training course.

The Daily Mirror reports that party-animal Harry and his fellow pilots will spend a wild 48 hours in Las Vegas midway during his training in California and Arizona.

A military source told the British paper that the bender is a "traditional" breather for Apache trainees. "The course doesn't have much downtime," the source said. "It's pretty intense. This is a chance for pilots to let their hair down, kick back and enjoy themselves."

Called "Exercise Crimson Eagle," Harry's California and Arizona training features "environmental training, live firing and tactical exercises," his rep explained to Us last week.

Once the "spare heir" wraps up his Stateside training, he will be a full-fledged Apache pilot, and could be re-deployed to the front lines in Afghanistan.

Earlier reports suggested that the ginger-haired royal could fly a helicopter in operations against insurgents by summer 2012.

"Harry is an Army pilot and will deploy wherever the Army chooses to send him," a Clarence House rep said recently. "His deployment will be a matter for the Army chain of command."
