Deadline reports that Justin Timberlake will star in Spinning Gold, a biopic of record executive Neil Bogart, the man who launched the careers of KISS, Donna Summer, The Village People and many other ’70s superstars.
Says Neil’s son Tim Bogart of the casting choice, “When Justin walked into the room, that was the moment I had been waiting for 29 years. He has the exact same energy as my father, the same glimmer in his eye.” So if Justin wins an Oscar for this film, he’ll only need the Tony for an EGOT…
