Joe Biden - Booing of Gay Soldier Was "Reprehensible"

Vice President Biden criticized the smattering of boos for a gay soldier who asked a question at last week's Republican debate, calling it "reprehensible" and saying, "Look, this kid risked his life, this kid was there for a year."

Biden, whose son served in Iraq, told the hosts of The View that the booing produced a "visceral response."

"I know my son and all the kids with him," Biden said. "I don't think they give a damn whether the guy firing the rifle to protect them is gay or straight."
