Fired News Anchor A.J. Clemente is Back Bartending

Fired news anchor A.J. Clemente’s 15 minutes of fame is officially up.

The 24-year-old, who became a Internet sensation when he dropped the F-bomb on his first day anchoring in North Dakota, is back to his previous job — working as a bartender and barback.

A.J. tells RumorFix exclusively, “This is what I’m doing for now — I definitely need to make money for bills.”

Friday night, he was behind the bar at the Table and Taproom in Dewey Beach, Delaware and his old stomping grounds took advantage of his new celebrity status.

You’d think he’d be making more money now that millions have seen his disastrous news anchoring on YouTube and since he was on the Today Show, Live with Kelly and Michael and The Late Show with David Letterman.

But, A.J. tells us it’s the same pay he made before he took off for Bismarck, North Dakota — $2.23 an hour plus tips.

The West Virginia University graduate says he’s been offered a few reality shows, but turned them all down.He says he’s going to stay around Dewey Beach for the summer and work as a bartender — then he’s going to start applying for TV news jobs all over again.

We caught A.J. during happy hour and he said he had to get off the phone, because, “I can’t lose another job.”
