HONOLULU, HI - A native New Orleanian in the U.S. Army, stationed in Hawaii, was able to meet Drew Brees and exchange autographs with him at Pro Bowl practice.
YouNews user "ckaufman" said she was in her full Army uniform, including soft cap, when she saw Brees and started jumping up and down and shouted, "HEY DREW, DREWWWWW, I'll trade you my hat for yours."
Brees, who is known to have great admiration for the military and those who serve, acknowledged Kaufman, who said she jokingly told him that she would trade her Army cap for his Pro Bowl visor and that she'd even autograph it for him.
She said Brees quickly accepted the offer, signed his cap and gave it to her and took her signed cap and wore it as he continued to sign autographs.
He said " Okay, we can trade". He signed his, I signed mine and we traded. Thanks Drew, you're the best!!!," she said.
