New Video - Club Diva Pepper MaShay “Love SOS”

Dance diva Pepper MaShay is back with a music video for her new single, “Love SOS”. The club anthem, which is out now on iTunes via Houston based record label Control Voltage Records, was penned by Pepper and producer Stephen Bogle. It has been remixed by Hugo Frax, Rob Hayes and DJ Cubanito.

Pepper has several dance hits under her belt, but she is best known for her vocal on the dance chart-topping Barry Harris track “Dive in the Pool”, which was used in the television series Queer as Folk. You may not know it, but Pepper can be heard singing background vocals on several major hits, including: Whitney Houston’s “My Love is Your Love”, Cher’s “Love Hurts”, Jennifer Holliday’s “A Woman’s Got the Power” and Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got To Do With It”.

Last year, Pepper told me: “You can have all of the Lady GaGa’s you want, but there is nothing like a soulful singer layin’ down the groove.” I couldn’t agree more. I hope dance music turns its attention back to the classic house sound with big vocals. I miss those days.

The video for “Love SOS”, which was filmed in Houston, Texas, uses the DJ Cubanito remix of the song. Check it out.
