Entire ‘Glee’ Cast to Return for Season Four

TV boss Ryan Murphy has decided not to axe regulars from the “Glee” cast as the stars have become “like a family.”

The series’ co-creator previously announced he would write out characters played by leading stars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith after they graduate at the end of the current third season.

But Murphy admits he’s invited everyone in the New Directions glee club to stay on the show – and they’re all on board.

He tells Vulture, “We had a meeting, and you know we’ve become like a family, and I said to them, ‘Anybody who wants to stay on the show will stay on the show.’ Anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes.”

And Murphy admits the actors are excited about tackling new storylines outside of McKinley High, adding, “When I told them all what the (plan for) next season was, I think they all liked it because they all get to grow and be back to struggling. ‘Where is my place in the world?’ For the most part, I’ve had really good talks with all the actors, and what I want to do they have loved. Cory Monteith was like, ‘I love that (my character) Finn gets to do that. That’s awesome.’”

Sir Elton John: 'Donna Summer Should Have Been Inducted In Hall Of Fame'

Sir Elton John has lashed out at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame officials for failing to induct Donna Summer earlier this year (12), branding the snub a "total disgrace".

The I Feel Love hitmaker was shortlisted for the honour as part of the class of 2012, but she was overlooked in favour of artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Donovan, Beastie Boys and Guns N' Roses - and the Rocket Man is angry his good friend Summer, who died on Thursday (17May12), was left out.

Paying tribute to the late star in a statement to Eonline.com, Elton says, "I'm so sad. This woman was the queen of disco and so much more. Her records sound as good today as they ever did.

"That she has never been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a total disgrace, especially when I see the second-rate talent that has been inducted. She is a great friend to me and to the Elton John Aids Foundation and I will miss her greatly."

Meanwhile, a slew of other celebrities have added their Twitter.com tributes to Summer.

Barbra Streisand, who collaborated with the disco diva on their hit 1979 duet No More Tears (Enough Is Enough), writes, "I was shocked to hear about Donna. She was so vital the last time I saw her a few months ago. I loved doing the duet with her. She had an amazing voice and was so talented... It's so sad."

And rocker Lenny Kravitz tweets, "Rest in peace Donna. You are a pioneer and you have paved the way for so many of us. You transcended race and genre. Respect", while Bret Michaels adds, "My deepest condolences got out to the family of Donna Summer regarding the passing of a true legend."

Rapper Nicki Minaj exclaims, "Wow, another legend gone", while Kelly Osbourne insists Summer's legacy will "live on forever", and Kelly Rowland admits the icon was her childhood inspiration: "Donna Summer. Icon! Legend! Her voice! Her spirit! Rest In peace, you truly inspired me! I love you!"

Meanwhile, pop group the Scissor Sisters have dedicated their concert in London on Thursday night (17May12) to Summer.

Frontwoman Ana Matronic tweets: "We'll be doing it for Donna tonight!!"

Happy Birthday - Janet Jackson

Janet Damita Jo Jackson (born May 16, 1966) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Known for a series of sonically innovative, socially conscious and sexually provocative records, as well as elaborate stage shows, television and film roles, she has been a prominent figure in popular culture for over 25 years. The youngest child of the Jackson family, she began her career with the variety television series The Jacksons in 1976 and went on to appear in other television shows throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, including Good Times and Fame.

After signing a recording contract with A&M in 1982, she came to prominence following the release of her third studio album Control (1986). Her collaborations with record producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis incorporated elements of rhythm and blues, funk, disco, rap, and industrial beats, which led to crossover appeal in popular music. In addition to receiving recognition for the innovation in her records, choreography, music videos, and prominence on radio airplay and MTV, she was acknowledged as a role model for her socially conscious lyrics.

In 1991, she signed the first of two record-breaking, multi-million dollar contracts with Virgin Records, establishing her as one of the highest paid artists in the industry. Her debut album under the label, Janet (1993), saw her develop a public image as a sex symbol as she began to explore sexuality in her work. That same year, she appeared in her first starring film role in Poetic Justice; since then she has continued to act in feature films. By the end of the 1990s, Billboard named her the second most successful recording artist of the decade, following Mariah Carey. She has amassed an extensive catalog of hits, with singles such as "Nasty", "Rhythm Nation", "That's the Way Love Goes", "Together Again", and "All for You" her most iconic.

Having sold over 100 million records, she is ranked as one of the best-selling artists in the history of contemporary music. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) lists her as the eleventh best-selling female artist in the United States, with 26 million certified albums. In 2008, Billboard magazine released its list of the Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists, ranking her at number seven. In 2010, the magazine announced the "Top 50 R&B / Hip-Hop Artists of the Past 25 Years", ranking her at number five. One of the world's most awarded artists, her longevity, records and achievements reflect her influence in shaping and redefining the scope of popular music. She has been cited as an inspiration among numerous performers.
