In a recent issue of The Hollywood Reporter, The Simpsons vets Matt Groening, Al Jean, cast members Dan Castellaneta, Hank Azariaand alums like Conan O'Brien discussed the show's significance.

Anne Rice Wants Matt Bomer To Play Her New Werewolf

Anne Rice, author of the popular Vampire Chronicles series, has revealed she would want actor Matt Bomer to play the character of Rueben in her new novel, ‘The Wolf Gift’.
Earlier this month it was revealed that an adaptation of another of Rice’s novels, ‘The Tale of the Body Thief’ which is part of her Vampire Chronicles series, is already in development. However, should her latest novel, The Wolf Gift, is turned into a film, she’d like Matt Bomer to star as the young San Francisco Observer reporter Reuben, who turns into a “Man Wolf” and is hunted while he searches for answers.
“I think he’s a charming, wonderful actor. I think he’s so good in White Collar, so funny and so fresh and so wonderfully handsome, and at the same time, sort of unassuming and charming,” said Rice on Good Morning America.
A rep for Rice says there’s no news of the book being optioned for a movie to share yet — “But soon I hope.” Here’s how Rice describes Reuben on the first page:
• “Reuben was a tall man, well over six feet, with brown curly hair and deep-set blue eyes. ‘Sunshine Boy’ was his nickname and he hated it; so he tended to repress what the world called an irresistible smile. But he was a little too happy right now to put on his studious expression, and try to look older than his twenty-three years.”
• “He’d driven north in his usual ‘uniform’ of worsted-wool blue blazer over a thin cashmere sweater, and gray slacks. But at least he had a scarf for his neck… “
