MADONNA thinks she’s worth it!

The pop superstar says her fans should “scrape” together $300 to see her concert.

Madge’s last tour grossed $408 million, the most ever for a solo artist, and is expected to go back on the road shortly.

“So start saving your pennies now,” she says.

“People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. I’m worth it.”

Thief arrested after stealing iPhone with tracking device installed on it

Thief arrested after stealing iPhone with tracking device installed on it

NEW ORLEANS – A “possible career criminal” was arrested early Saturday morning after he stole an iPhone that had a tracking device on it, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Around 1:10 a.m., the victim was at a club in the 400 block of Bourbon Street when she realized both her wallet and iPhone were missing from her purse, police said.

Police were immediately able to get the suspects location using the victim’s tracking device.

The suspect was at the gas station at St. Louis and North Rampart Streets when police dialed the victim’s phone number and watched Travis Henderson, 30, reach for the phone in his pants pocket, police said.

Henderson was arrested for simple robbery when the victim’s phone, credit cards, debit card and driver’s license were all found on him.

29 Years Ago Today We Lost My Favorite Singer.....

On Feb. 4, 1983, singer-musician Karen Carpenter died in Downey, Calif., at age 32, after years of suffering from anorexia nervosa.

Karen and her brother, Richard, formed the 1970s duo The Carpenters. She was a drummer of exceptional skill, but she is best remembered for her vocal performances of idealistic romantic ballads of true love. The Carpenters signature song is "We've Only Just Begun" which remains a popular wedding ballad.

She suffered from anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder of extreme weight loss dieting, which was a little-known illness at the time. Although she had begun recovery with a doctor supervised program and regained 30 lbs, permanent damage to her body had been sustained from the years of extreme weight loss dieting and she died at the age of 32. Her death was attributed to heart failure, from complications related to her illness, which caused her to believe mistakenly that she needed to lose weight.

"Love Me For What I Am" - One Of My Favorites

Back In 1991, I Wrote a Fan Letter To Richard Telling Him How Much I Loved The Carpenters Music and Was So Excited When I Received an Autographed Photo in The Mail.  It Was a Few Years Later That I Realized Richard Got My Letter and Replied With The Signed Photo Exactly Eight Years to the Day Karen Died.
