New York gets more than inch of snow before Halloween for the first time EVER!
New York has today been hit by more than one inch of snowfall before Halloween for the first time ever - with experts predicting much more on the way.
The North East is bracing for a chilling weekend as 60 million people are expected to experience a rare October snowstorm, which will unleash heavy, wet snow and wind.
New England has already been struck by a very early snowfall and 10,000 residents in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia were today without power after snow, according to AccuWeather.com.
This weekend looks set to see huge amounts of sleet and snow covering the North East, invariably causing power outages and travel chaos. Some areas bracing for up to a foot of snow.

Madonna To Play Concert In London
MADONNA is to play a huge concert in London next year to coincide with the 2012 Olympics.
The 53-year-old singer will perform to 60,000 fans in Hyde Park next July when the UK capital will host the prestigious sporting event.
“Madonna is planning a huge comeback and was determined to do it at Hyde Park while the Olympics are on,” a source said.
“She’s been out of the limelight musically for a while but is ready to jump back into the saddle and thinks there’s no better time to do it than when London hosts the Olympics.”
Earlier this week, it was also revealed Madonna is to perform at next February’s Super Bowl, where she will headline the annual NFL match after beating off competition from Lady GaGa.
Kelly Clarkson co-hosts with Hoda on Today Show: Sings for fans
Kelly Clarkson was in her element on Friday Morning. The artist was co-hosting with Hoda during the fourth hour of the NBCs Today show and sharing her talent. Delighted to be part of the show and co-hosting for the first time, Clarkson really took time to talk about her life and sing a few bars for the fans.
Clarkson shared some of her more intimate moments in life by displaying photos of the rescue ranch she lives on with the viewers. Helping her family take in and care for animals, she was raised to help others in a loving environment. While she only lives part time in the country and part time in Nashville, she talked about how peaceful the rescue ranch was when she went back home.
Sharing the moment with the cameo of her sister and best friend, the segment was all about having a little fun with Hoda and not being too serious. Of course there was drinking involved, but the fourth hour always has a glass or two hanging around the show, so it wasn’t all that special.

Screaming Man Found Stuck Inside Tree Trunk
Orange County firefighters found a man stuck inside a five-foot-deep tree trunk Tuesday morning after locals reported hearing screams in the area. “Why he's in a tree, I have no idea,” said Fire Authority Battalion Chief Kris Concepcion. It took the fire department about 90 minutes to rescue him.
Lea Michele Gushes Over Kelly Clarkson!
It is no secret that 'Glee' star Lea Michele is a huge Kelly Clarkson fan. Ever since Kelly's new album came out, Lea has been cranking it up in the car. The question is this: have Clarkson and Michele connected at all?
As recently as a couple of days ago, Lea Michele was listening to a little Kelly in the car on her way to the production lot to work on 'Glee' for the day:

It is really cute that Lea Michele's fame from 'Glee' has opened the opportunity to connect with other stars like Kelly Clarkson. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Lea got into a Twitter conversation with Barbra Streisand. What is fun is that when she does connect, she always seems humbled by meeting another 'star.
Madonna Teaming Up With MIA and Nicki Minaj
It's not just opposing football teams that will be sporting their own cheerleaders at the Super Bowl in February. Fan site Madonnarama is reporting that its namesake Madonna will be crashing the stage at Super Bowl XLVI at half-time, and is taking her new single -- and her own crew of cheerleaders -- with her.
According to the site, Madge will be performing what is being dubbed her new album's single: "Give Me All Your Love," helmed by French DJ and producer Martin Solveig.
Furthermore: "The performance is supposed to include some heavy choreography with major cheerleading action!" the site enthuses. "The cheerleaders are about to tumble, dance, jump and stunt while cheering some 'M-A-D-O-N-N-A' in the stadium while she sings her new song."
The Material Girl is set to perform the new song as well as four of her better-known hits during her half-time show. Super Bowl XLVI is slated for Feb. 5, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, home of the Colts.
Mario Cantone Marries His Partner of 20 Years
Comedian Mario Cantone has married his partner of 20 years, musical theater director Jerry Dixon, Cantone revealed Friday on The View.
"I got married for the same reasons you did," the Sex and the City actor, 51, tells fellow newlywed Joy Behar on the show. "We're older now. We've been together 20 years. After 20 years you're like, 'Thanks for the anti-climactic honeymoon, government!' "
Cantone says their wedding was officiated by pastor Jay Bakker, the son of the late Tammy Faye Bakker Messner.

‘Glee’ Celebrates 300 Musical Performances
The cast of Glee, including Darren Criss, Matthew Morrison, Kevin McHale, Chris Colfer, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera,Heather Morris, Diana Agron, Jenna Ushkowitz, Amber Riley andMark Salling gathered onstage after taping the Fox hit’s 300th musical performance at Paramount Studios today (October 26th) in Hollywood for a Q&A session.
Riley, Morris and Rivera will perform a medley of Adele‘s “Rumor Has It”/”Someone Like You” for the November 15th episode, something the British songstress personally approved this past Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Riley, who’s been pushing to cover Adele on the series, told the audience, “Someone emailed me a video of Adele saying she wanted me to sing her song, so I emailed it to Ryan and Brad and I think that’s how we got ‘Rumor Has It’/'Someone Like You.’”
To date, 36 million songs have been downloaded and 11 million albums soldworldwide, and new episodes return November 1st on Fox.

At the third time of trying, the Material Girl has landed the biggest gig of her life – performing at the US Super Bowl.
Madge, 53, will headline the annual NFL match on February 5, following in the footsteps of the Black Eyed Peas, the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake.
It seems Madge has snatched the coveted spot from her young rival Lady Gaga, 25.
Fresh from the London premiere of W.E., Madge is again focusing on her music.
My source says: “When Madonna heard Gaga was in the frame, she knew she had to step up her efforts. She is going to deliver the kind of show never before seen in NFL history.”

Uh - Oh.... Steven Tyler Fell In the Shower!!
Aerosmith's Steven Tyler had a nasty fall in a hotel bathroom in Paraguay over the weekend. The singer was rushed to the hospital where he underwent treatment for a busted lip, cut forehead and two broken front teeth. And from the ghastly picture that Tyler sent NBC's 'Today Show,' it looks like the frontman may have rocked a little too hard while singing in the shower.
Speculation arose about Tyler's sobriety after the incident caught wind around the world, but the 'Idol' judge assured Matt Lauer that this had nothing to do with substance abuse, and everything to do with dehydration after food poisoning. "I get that people think that," Tyler said of rumors that he had fallen off the wagon. "It still bothers me a little, but it's something that I have to deal with for the rest of my life."
Despite his injuries, Aerosmith continued their South American tour and even broke a house attendance record, prompting Tyler to say that "Life is beautiful," despite his broken face. He even managed to play some harmonica with the busted tooth!
